We'll Always Have Georgetown

Lorenzo Brown officially declared for the NBA Draft on Thursday afternoon, and while I'm sad that this is the end of his career at State, I am just going to move past that by watching this moment over and over (scroll over or click to animate):

It took a while to realize how special that late-season finish was. But I never forget how awesome it is to make it to the second weekend of the NCAA tournament, because I've only gotten to experience that twice. Lorenzo Brown's freakish talent helped make the second occasion possible, and for that I'll always be grateful. Seriously though how do you do that. Trick shot practice truly does pay off.

We've been spoiled by Brown's ability to get to the rim and finish strong; there were few better in the country at getting buckets near the rim despite contact. He didn't so much get to the rim against the Hoyas here, but he nevertheless left no doubt.
