NC State Playing Cincinnati In ESPN Tip-Off Marathon

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

We knew NC State was going to play at Cincinnati this year, and now we know when: it will be at 5 p.m. ET on Nov. 12 during ESPN's 24-hour marathon tip-off event. A women's hoops doubleheader kicks the event off on Nov. 11, then it's men's basketballaganza:

Monday, Nov. 11 (all times Eastern)
11 p.m. - BYU at Stanford (ESPN2)

Tuesday, Nov. 12 (all times Eastern)
1 a.m. - Western Kentucky at Wichita State (ESPN2)
3 a.m. - Akron at St. Mary's (ESPN2)
5 a.m. - New Mexico State at Hawaii (ESPN2)
7 a.m. - Hartford at Florida Gulf Coast (ESPN2)
9 a.m. - Quinnipiac at La Salle (ESPN2)
11 a.m. - LSU at Massachusetts (ESPN2)
1 p.m. - West Virginia at Virginia Tech (ESPN)
3 p.m. - South Carolina at Baylor (ESPN)
5 p.m. - NC State at Cincinnati (ESPN)
7 p.m. - VCU at Virginia (ESPN2)
7:30 p.m. - Michigan State vs. Kentucky (Chicago) (ESPN)
9 p.m. - Florida at Wisconsin (ESPN2)
10 p.m. - Kansas vs. Duke (Chicago) (ESPN)

I think it would be fun to play in the 3 a.m. slot because that liveblog would be weird as hell and also we'd probably all be falling in and out of consciousness. I can think of no better way to spend a Tuesday morning in November. But I'll settle for 5 p.m. Set your get-out-of-work-early plans in motion now, everybody. We'll see you in three months, college basketball.
