Five-star big man (well, tall man) Brandon Ingram will make his college choice on April 27, per his high school coach. Ingram is going through one last round of in-home coaching visits before committing.
Bill Self and John Calipari were in to visit Ingram over the weekend, and it's Mark Gottfried's turn today. Coach K and Roy Williams will follow over the next couple of days. Gottfried sandwiched between a bunch of hall of fame coaches, no big deal.
247Sports' Crystal Ball dealio suggests that Duke is Ingram's most likely landing spot at this point, which probably does not surprise anybody. Then again, the Crystal Ball also suggests there is a seven percent chance that Ingram commits to a cloud. The Crystal Ball doesn't always see clearly.
I bet Ingram was impressed by Cloud's thunderous home court advantage. He could take Cloud into the stratosphere. You'd have to admire the cumulo-tive effort by Cloud's staff. What a cirrus statement it would be. Ingram choosing Cloud would be quite the story since talent of his caliber almost never lands in the Big Sky Conference. Sorry, I'll stop now.
