Brandon Ingram's decision day arrives with Duke the heavy favorite

Five-star forward Brandon Ingram will make his college choice Monday evening at 6:10 p.m. in Kinston. His announcement will be streamed live online via WRAL, though at this point there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of suspense in Ingram's decision.

Duke is expected to be the landing spot for Ingram, and might have been a done deal for a while, depending on how you want to read Rob Moxley's tweets on the subject. But this is recruiting, after all, and strange things could happen. I wouldn't count out NC State entirely, or Cloud, for that matter. Cloud's coming in with some steam.

I'm not saying that's a definitive tell on Ingram's part, but perhaps that's his subconscious giving voice to his true feelings about which school is the right fit. Can he win national titles in two sports at Duke? Not likely. Here, though, we can insert him into a great bass fishing lineup that will compete for titles as soon as he sets foot in the boat. Also he could win some basketball games.
