Small forward Josh Hall is one of the top 50 prospects in the 2020 recruiting class and has been a priority for NC State for a while. Hall was in Raleigh last weekend on an official visit that coincided with State’s “Primetime with the Pack” event, and now it looks like he’ll be making his college decision in the next two weeks. Rivals’ Cory Evans has the story.

Usually it’s a good sign for a school when a recruit’s timetable moves up right after an official visit to said school. Hall had been expected to wait until the spring to make his choice.
Evans says that it’s not a done deal to NC State just yet, since Hall could still take visits to places like LSU, DePaul, or Louisville. It’s rarely a good idea to assume anything in recruiting anyway, though the 247Sports Crystal Ball is 100% for NC State.
Hall would be the second top-50 player to commit to State during this cycle, joining point guard Cam Hayes.
