Jalen Lecque has a little over 24 hours to retain his college eligibility by withdrawing from the NBA Draft (11:59 p.m. on 5/29 being the deadline), but I’m pretty sure we all know what decision has already been made. I mentally erased him from NC State’s roster situation when the Wolfpack coaches did the same.
There hasn't been an official announcement from potential preps to pros guard Jalen Lecque, but all indications are that he intends to stay in the NBA Draft. "I'd be extremely shocked if he didn't," one source said.

In prospect commitment lingo, “extremely shocked” translates to “110% shocked.” But it isn’t like we need some NBA scouting type to confirm what the roster situation has told us for a while now—NC State is out of open scholarships, which would not be the case if the Wolfpack staff genuinely thought they would get Lecque on campus.
And so we bid him farewell and the best of luck in the future, and I would like to congratulate myself on the occasion of not having to write about this anymore.
