NC State basketball scrimmage against Georgia set for Nov. 1

Streeter Lecka

Georgia is the opponent this year for NC State's annual sorta-secret scrimmage, which will take place in Charlotte on Nov. 1, per the Athens Banner-Herald. Schools are allowed by NCAA rules to schedule one preseason scrimmage every year, though these scrimmages must be closed to the public.

That being the case, I think you can see the mission at hand, Charlotte Wolfpackers. You have a little over a week to uncover the location of this glorified joint practice and figure out the best way to finagle entry into the facility on the day of the workout. If you are successful in this task, you will be recognized later in the month on this site as a founding member of the Backing The Pack Investigative I-Team On Your Side Department. You'll get a badge and everything.

Georgia returns the bulk of its starting lineup from a team that won 12 games in the SEC last year and reached the second round of the NIT. The Bulldogs finished 2014 at No. 72 in the Pomeroy Ratings. They swept a Missouri group that beat State in Raleigh but also dropped games to a couple teams the Pack beat: Georgia Tech and Tennessee.
