Go listen to Jordan Vandenberg on the Riddick & Reynolds podcast

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

We will miss Jordan Vandenberg a hell of a lot, in equal parts lost contributions on the floor and in the post-game interview. I can't remember any State player who has been as self-aware and self-deprecating as Vandenberg, and now it feels like a total waste that he didn't go to every ACC media day during his career.

He's at his best in the latest Reynolds & Riddick podcast. I especially liked the part where he admits he's not really a fan of vegetables but takes the time to remind the kids listening that they need to eat their vegetables. He stops short of warning the nation of the bland/terrifying threat known as cauliflower, but you can hear it in the tone of his voice.

We worry about replacing T.J. Warren's scoring, but how do we replace Vandenberg's wit? It can't be done in one offseason, dammit! It can't be done. I don't know where we go from here.
