T.J. Warren scores 22 in Phoenix Suns debut

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

T.J. Warren made his professional debut with the Suns in the Vegas Summer League on Saturday night, and man, I didn't realize how much I'd missed watching him play basketball. Warren, you will be shocked to learn, scored 20+ in the game, and he did it efficiently. Highlights from the game are here.

Warren finished the contest 10-of-16 from the field, hit both his free throw attempts, and pulled down four rebounds in around 24 minutes of playing time. He was also +19 for the night, which was easily tops among all players. Alas, the Suns were edged by the Warriors in the final minute. It probably would have helped if the Suns had made a three-pointer during the game.

The Suns are back at it on Sunday against Milwaukee. This Phoenix team has all sorts of ACC action goin' on, with Miles Plumlee, Seth Curry, Alex Len (though I guess he no longer officially counts), and Tyler Ennis playing alongside Warren. That's just weird, all those dudes on the same team. Ain't right if you ask me.
