Georgia Tech's season of agony ended with, you guessed it, more agony. The Yellow Jackets let a late six-point lead slip away and saw their ACC tournament finished at the hands of Olivier Hanlan, who scored the game-winning bucket with about 12 seconds left.

Tech's futility in close games this year has been unreal, and on Tuesday their ability to melt down in myriad ways was on display one last time. The Jackets fouled a three-point shooter. There were bad shots and turnovers. The Eagles needed just one minute to go from down 63-57 to up 64-63.
I actually thought GT was gonna win this one when they got that six-point edge with 90 seconds left. Obviously that was a super dumb thing to think. I am a super dumb idiot.
Boston College advances to play fifth-seeded North Carolina on Wednesday. Georgia Tech returns to Atlanta, where Brian Gregory can start cleaning out his office.
