Bracketology 2015: NC State slides but it's fine, this is fine, we're fine

Despite Saturday's ... whatever that was ... NC State remains in a decent spot on the bubble, and probably in the NCAA tournament if the season ended today. Alas, it does not, so we will just have to keep on sweating. State dropped down to No. 55 in the RPI following the BC game.

Team Rankings gives the Pack a 69.3% shot at making the NCAAs--those odds were north of 82% after the UNC game, so BC stands as a pretty big dent. (To nobody's surprise.) Team Rankings ballparks State's seed as most likely landing in the 8-10 range.

Joe Lunardi dropped NC State to a 10-seed, while Jerry Palm has the Pack as an 11-seed (but not stuck in a First Four game). USA Today projects NC State as a 10-seed.

All things considered, the damage from losing in Chestnut Hill doesn't appear to be that bad. But it does put a lot more pressure on the last two games of the regular season, which is just great and exactly what we all want right now. Thanks, basketball team. It's a good thing you guys always play well at Clemson, otherwise I'd be extra concerned!
