In the first meeting between these teams, Louisville turned the ball over only five times, but the Cardinals' offensive rebounding effort was well below their season average, and they didn't shoot well, either. The only question that really matters with Louisville at this point is, can they shoot a decent percentage?
In Louisville's last 10 games, which includes State's win at the Yum! Center, the Cardinals have posted an eFG% above 50 only three times. In that 10-game span, they are winless against NCAA tournament teams when shooting under 50%. The secondary factors haven't meant as much, especially with Chris Jones sidelined.
Louisville has got to figure out a way to free up Montrezl Harrell, because otherwise it's going to end up relying too heavily on Terry Rozier and Wayne Blackshear, who are mediocre jump shooters at best. In any one game, any damn thing can happen, but if Rozier and Blackshear jumpers are the route to the next round for Louisville, let's just say that's a wee bit less than ideal.

The Pomeroy Predictor likes Louisville by three.
