As NC State’s trip to Italy winds down, Kevin Keatts and his staff will be taking stock of the last few weeks—10 practices, three exhibition games, and some wildly varying results. On Thursday in Rome, the Wolfpack easily handled Stella Azzurra by 44 points, and that was despite the fact that the game was halted early because of condensation on the court. (None of the gyms State played games in had AC.)
Details were pretty much non-existent, as usual, since NCSU refused to offer any in-game updates via Twitter. They did the same thing in the previous game, too. They did post a brief highlight video afterward though:
Tucker Thompson sighting!
NC State will return to Raleigh on Saturday. ITALY LEARNING TIME IS OVA.
The start of the fall semester is right around the corner, and it won’t be long until basketball practice gets started. In the mean time, Keatts has a little more information to take into account as he gets ready for games that count, and hopefully he has a better picture of how he’ll implement this group once the season starts.
