Highlights! NC State downs Wake Forest, 72-63

Now, sure, these highlights do not fully encompass the stupidity of this game, but this is not the purpose of highlights, I am told. [holds hand to earpiece]

In fact I’m told that encompassing the sheer stupidity of any given game is in complete opposition to the point of highlights. Learn something new every day. What can you do but admit a mistake when you make it. Anyway, here were the good things that happened for both teams on Thursday night:

In all seriousness, NC State deserves a lot of credit for fighting through a crap performance to win a game against a team it should beat under most circumstances. That may seem faint praise, but it isn’t, because this shit ain’t easy. Swearing, yeah, that’s easy—basketball, not really so much.

NC State did not come close to producing its best effort but still won a crucial game. We’re in a good place right now.
