NC State scored 54 on Maryland Eastern Shore in the first half, giving the Wolfpack a 40-point lead at the break, which State melted down the rest of the way. This one was never in doubt, and the Pack went on to win 95-49.
Torin Dorn led all Wolfpack scorers with 22 points, and, notably, Braxton Beverly made a quick return from surgery to score 12. (All of those came on three-point tries.)

C.J. Bryce and Devon Daniels were not so necessary today, and they scored in single figures despite this blowout win. D.J. Funderburk continued his streak of not missing a shot from the field, and Jericole Hellems was once again a reliable option off the bench.
There is a lot that Kevin Keatts can do with this group, and he will play to its depth—I haven’t mentioned Blake Harris or Eric Lockett or, oh yeah, Markell Johnson!, up to this point—and the team will go as far as that works.
Against a team like Maryland Eastern Shore, yeah, it works. It’s going to work a lot more often than not. Defensive rebounding is a problem we can worry about some other time.
