NC State drops a tough one at Wisconsin, 79-75

This was a bummer. Man this sucked. I mean good lord we were leading by double figures well into the second half, and yet ... it melted. Feels sometimes like these games always melt away.

NC State had an answer for Wisconsin the vast majority of the time, but Wisconsin made the long run work to its favor. The Badgers are obviously limited offensively, but they took full advantage of the officials on their home court—if you don’t do this, then you’re derelict in you duties—and then got the game to turn on a dreadful offensive foul against NC State.

That’s life on the road, though, man. If you want to get worked up about that, then fine, but it’s not worth it. (I mean but this one guy drew like four charges! In one game! Haha ugh but what I’m wait he what.)

NC State is fine. Wisconsin had to shoot 11-21 from three AND get the exceptional benefit of the officials to win this game. The Wolfpack led the game for nearly 32 minutes. You run into this shit; it’s whatever. The underlying performance is the truth.

At least that’s what I plan to tell myself tomorrow.
