Sacha Killeya-Jones, who is a former five-star prospect, announced his commitment to NC State on Twitter today. Killeya-Jones spent two seasons at Kentucky, where he primarily came off the bench.

Killeya-Jones will be eligible in 2019-20 and have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
He averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in around 14 minutes per game as a sophomore. Hopefully with a year off, he’ll be ready to be a significant contributor at NC State. He certainly has the talent to be a great college player.
He is a former McDonald’s All-American and finished the 2016 recruiting cycle ranked 23rd by the 247 composite.
In his limited playing time with Kentucky, SKJ was a good rebounder and shot blocker. He also made 59% of his two-point attempts.
Killeya-Jones may be an important part of NC State’s future, but in the mean time Kevin Keatts has some serious roster management ahead of him. Integrating so many new guys into a cohesive team is no small thing.
