The 2018 Big Ten/ACC Challenge matchups are set, according to Jon Rothstein, and NC State will be hitting the road to play Wisconsin. You can find the full list of matchups right here. Wolfpack-Badgers. Somewhere, Russell Wilson’s nanobubble-heightened senses just detected a disturbance in the universe, presented by Microsoft Surface and Alaska Airlines.
Looks on paper like this will be a quality matchup. Wisconsin is coming off an uncharacteristic down year but returns star big man Ethan Happ, who recently withdrew his name from the NBA Draft. The Badgers were only 15-18 this past season, but all of their major contributors return.
Archie Miller’s Hoosiers are playing in Durham this year, and since the Hoosiers are on the same alternating home/road track as State is in this thing (both played at home last year, both on the road this year, both at home next year, etc.), it seems a matchup with Miller’s team might never happen. Alas.
Elsewhere, UNC is at Michigan, Michigan State is at Louisville, Syracuse is at Ohio State, and Purdue plays at Florida State. Those should be good ones.
Wake Forest is the ACC squad with the honor of sitting out the challenge this year.
