NC State’s game against Syracuse Wednesday night got off to a weird start, as State announced that wing Eric Lockett would miss the contest for “personal reasons” and we then quickly learned that Kentucky transfer Sacha Killeya-Jones wasn’t on the bench, either.
Kevin Keatts didn’t elaborate after State’s win, but did say that SKJ is done here:
Kevin Keatts on Sacha-Killeya Jones not being on the bench: "Sacha is no longer on the team. That's all I'll say for now."

Killeya-Jones transferred from Kentucky after his freshman season and was sitting out this year at State. He was expected to be a significant part of State’s rotation once he became eligible.
