The 2019 ACC tournament bracket was set Saturday night with the conclusion of the regular season, though NC State and Clemson have known for a bit that they’d be meeting in the 8/9 game on Wednesday. I’ve already seen some national media members suggest that’s a bubble elimination game, but I’m not ready to go that far.
With that said, obviously winning would be a very good idea for NC State.
NC State-Clemson is the first game of the Wednesday session, so we’re all gonna need extended lunch breaks.
On State’s side of the bracket is top-seeded Virginia, No. 4 Florida State, and No. 5 Virginia Tech. If the Wolfpack advances, it will have a rematch against UVA on Thursday.

On the other side, a third game between Duke and UNC is likely, which, hooray who doesn’t want that hype action again, and so soon after the last round [throws up a little in mouth].
