Combo guard Dereon Seabron has been committed to NC State since January but things are never truly official in recruiting until a guy signs on the dotted line. Seabron signed his scholarship papers to NC State during the spring signing period this week.

(My sincere condolences to the young man who is signing with ECU.)
From NC State’s release on the news, here’s what Kevin Keatts has to say about Seabron:
“Dereon is a tremendous athlete with a unique skill set. He is a playmaking guard that has a team-first mentality. His length and athleticism will allow him to make plays on both ends of the floor. We are excited to have him in Raleigh and welcome him to the Wolfpack family.”
He’s an interesting prospect for sure—he’s already 6’5, which means he can be applied in a bunch of different ways depending on how his game develops in college.
Seabron finished just outside of the top-100 in this recruiting cycle and is a consensus four-star recruit.
