Blink and it’s gonna be basketball season, which, uh, depending on how the quarterback situation works out, might not be the worst thing. NC State once again can boast strong season ticket sales, as senior associate AD Fred Demarest announced on Twitter this afternoon.
A little over a month away from the first @PackMensBball exhibition game. Season tickets are over 10,000 for the seventh time in the last eight years and the 17th time in 21 seasons at @PNCArena (thank you #WPN) ... strong nucleus returning for @CoachKeattsNCSU & Company. #GoPack pic.twitter.com/8RSonvU7a0

(Oh hey, and there is the new fancypants videoboard that was installed at PNC Arena this summer. Looks fantastic. This videoboard is so big that it has videoboards inside of it.)
It’s mildly amazing that ticket sales have hit 10k seventeen times since the building opened—because the basketball program over this time has been a series of hiccups, and the best case result has generally been like a 7-seed in the NCAA tournament. Kudos to everybody who’s been there the whole time, regardless. Frankly I admire everyone’s courage. I admire all of our courage. Courages. Our couragacity.
