Over a week without any NC State basketball is simply too much, and I’m afraid that we’re going to have to remove the winter holidays moving forward. I’m sorry, but this is how it must be for my selfish enjoyment of additional basketball.
This week both the men’s and women’s teams return to the floor in league play—the men host Boston College, and you figure Kevin Keatts’ group has had more than enough time to enjoy and then move on from the UNC win. But you never know!
The women’s team has not played since the 20th, and since then Duke’s entire team opted out—State was supposed to play Duke on the 20th but got Miami as a replacement opponent instead. NC State’s other game against Duke was scheduled for late January.
The men’s team is favored by 10 over BC, per KenPom, and the women will also be solid favorites against a Georgia Tech squad that is pretty good defensively (45th in defensive efficiency) and not so good offensively (119th).
