There will be no more basketball in Greensboro this week, as the ACC has chosen to cancel the remainder of the 2020 ACC men’s basketball tournament. The situation definitely was trending in this direction Wednesday night with the news that the NBA suspended its season.

For official purposes, top-seeded Florida State was awarded the ACC tournament trophy this afternoon, which is one of the more bizarre things I have ever seen. Florida State counts as the automatic qualifier out of the ACC for NCAA tournament seeding purposes. If there is an NCAA tournament.

League tournaments across the country are being canceled today, and that includes the power conferences. Before the ACC’s announcement, the Big Ten, SEC, and Big 12 called it quits and the Pac-12 has done the same as well.
This is the right thing to do at this point, no doubt about it, but man does this suck big time. What am I supposed to do now, work or something?
