BTP The Offseason, Day 85: Demons are real

A few items this morning:

— In college football recruiting, you win some, you lose some, and you lose some you thought you won. NC State picked up a big addition in Micah Crowell this week, and on Wednesday night, running back Caleb McDowell decommitted.

That commitment lasted all of (checks watch) six weeks. McDowell picked up an offer from South Carolina a couple weeks ago, which may have something to do with this. So it goes.

— Kevin Keatts was on with Adam Gold on Wednesday—their conversation begins around 17:05 here. There’s a non-update-update on DJ Funderburk, who is enrolled in school and staying on track to maintain his eligibility but clearly hasn’t made a decision yet one way or the other.

— The MLB Draft is less than a week away, and the latest mock from MLB.com still has Patrick Bailey going to the White Sox.

...............

I simultaneously want to own this and also kill it with fire:

Sure, all of that is a possible explanation for this Native American illustration, but is it not more likely that this is simply an artist’s rendering of the aliens that must have landed somewhere in the midwest like 500 years ago?
