You know what’s nice is when you’re stressing about a game but come to realize there was nothing at all to stress about, that the material difference between your side and the other was as large as you thought, and on account of that, you question what you worried about in the first place?
Hey, I don’t have to explain anything to me!
NC State has cracked 1.1 points per possession in each of its last two road games, and while neither Pittsburgh nor Wake Forest could be confused for a model of defensive precision, that’s a good short-term run for this State team, particularly in Devon Daniels’ absence.
I can admit that I definitely overreacted to that Duke game, and that I should know better, and that also it’s a good thing the basketball team is a lot mentally stronger on a day-to-day basis than I am. I wasn’t sure this group had much left in the tank after that one, but I was wrong.
They’ve played hard in the mean time, and they’ve earned two wins for the trouble.
