NC State men’s basketball’s non-conference schedule continues to take shape. We know the Wolfpack will be playing neutral-site games against Purdue and Richmond and it is bringing Bucknell to Raleigh in a buy game. Another buy game on the slate is Louisiana Tech, per a report out of Ruston on Wednesday.
Trying to exact some revenge for the baseball team, are we, Louisiana Tech? Well it won’t work! Or it might; hell, I don’t know. Louisiana Tech’s football team will have its own shot in Raleigh the first weekend of October. We’re getting all the Louisiana Tech we can handle!
The Bulldogs were pretty darn solid last season—good enough to reach the Final Four of the NIT, in fact. Tech finished the year at 24-8 overall, including a 12-4 record in C-USA games. The team ended the year at No. 82 in the Pomeroy Ratings, 11 spots behind NC State.
That Louisiana Tech team featured a number of key seniors, and depending how many—if any—are planning on using their extra year of eligibility, the Bulldogs could be even better this upcoming season.
