NC State Football Picks Up Three Players

Mitch Stringer-US PRESSWIRE

NC State announced some late additions to the football program Tuesday: the Pack has added quarterback Josh Taylor, tight end Lucas Wilson, and running back Ben Grazen joined the program. All three are in-state players.

Depth is still needed in some key places, and I'm told that you cannot walk from one end of the brickyard to the other without at least a half dozen representatives of the football program imploring you to suit up for the team. Recently several of them got in between the Atrium and a really hungry student, and this happened.

Taylor and Grazen don't show up on any recruiting rankings so I'm guessing they won't see the field at NC State, but who knows. If the 40 time listed here for Taylor is accurate, it might be worth giving him a shot at wide receiver. Wilson, on the other hand, is an impressive late pickup for Doeren and company. He is a consensus three-star prospect who had offers from Maryland, Tennessee, UCF, South Florida, and Wake Forest.
