No, NC State Is Not Wearing Black Uniforms Thursday

I was late to the tubes today so I'm not entirely sure where the rumor about black football uniforms began. I think this was the start:

NC State is bringing out the all black uniforms for the game against Clemson

I was confused after hearing this because it's my understanding that we don't have black football uniforms this year--supposedly Dave Doeren asked about getting some but was told no. I don't know if that's true or not, but I've heard several variations of that story. Anyhow, NC State cleared everything up later in the day. We're going with the all-red look. (P.S. you should wear red to the game.)

Three games, three different helmets. I'm good with that trend. The all-red not so much, but I knew it would be coming at some point. I will continue to hold out hope that we actually do have super top secret black uniforms, even if they aren't making an appearance this week.

Black would be the appropriate color for Thursday's funeral, though, am I right you guys.
