Saturday was pretty good for NC State--four guys committed--and Monday has been pretty okay as well. The Wolfpack picked up three more players, pushing the 2014 class into the top 20 of Rivals' rankings (more due to quantity than anything else, but impressive anyway).
All three are defensive line prospects: Justin Jones, Deonte Holden, and Bradley Chubb. Jones and Chubb both are from Georgia, while Holden is from Maryland. All three are also consensus three-star prospects, though Rivals considers Jones a four-star guy. This is one of those cases where Rivals and the consensus disagree significantly.
Jones holds offers from Ole Miss, Michigan State, Miami, Louisville, and Mississippi State but does not have offers from UGA or Georgia Tech. The other two also hold scholarship offers from multiple power-conference schools.
The Pack now has 19 guys committed for 2014 and it's only late June. The three-player-per-day pace obviously can't continue, but there will be more good news coming. Coach McNutt is pretty pumped.
