NC State football recruiting: Wolfpack wraps up successful, uneventful National Signing Day

NC State's National Signing Day was missing intrigue--there were no 11th-hour flips, either to or from NCSU--but I don't think anybody is gonna complain about that. The Pack received letters of intent from all of its committed prospects, making official what has been a strong recruiting cycle for Dave Doeren and company.

In this class, the Wolfpack added blue-chip talent to both the offensive and defensive lines, and they added several explosive athletes who can give State's offense a level of playmaking ability it hasn't had in a while. State is absolutely loaded at running back now, even if Nyheim Hines ends up at wide receiver. And we know Dave Doeren wants to run the dang ball.

This is a top-30ish class, with potential difference makers at a bunch of different positions, and perhaps most encouragingly, this class was built around in-state talent. There were disappointments along the path to signing day, but considering the broad implications of what the staff accomplished, it's hard to imagine things could have turned out much better. We'll have more in-depth breakdowns of this class and what it means later on.

Here is the full list of 2015 signees, including the early enrollees and a pair of walk-ons that were announced Wednesday:
