Dave Doeren has gotten a few gifts from Tennessee this month; first, the school helped him land a nice extension and a raise, and now it’s given him Tanner Ingle. Ingle committed to Tennessee in June but re-opened his recruitment when Butch Jones was let go. That worked out well for NC State.

Ingle is listed at 5’9 and 180 pounds by 247Sports, and he is a consensus three-star prospect in the 2018 class. He holds offers from plenty of power-conference schools, including Mississippi State, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Maryland, and Missouri. He visited NC State in early December.
Ingle (and anyone else currently committed) can sign his letter-of-intent to NC State beginning on Dec. 20, which is the start of college football’s brand new early-signing period.
