NC State’s June recruiting roll continued Monday when the Wolfpack landed a verbal commitment from Southeast Raleigh High School wide receiver Tyler Williams. Williams is a consensus three-star prospect.

State appears to be his best offer so far—he was first offered by the Pack on June 17 and also has scholarship offers from East Carolina and Old Dominion. Rivals also lists offers from App State and Colorado State.
NC State has added several recruits this month who could help in a number of different positions depending on how things shake out down the road, and Williams is no exception.
He was pretty good in a returner/receiver role for Southeast last season, finishing the year with 450 receiving yards on 25 catches while averaging over 20 yards per punt return.
