NC State got some good news this week when in-state defensive back Jalen Frazier announced his verbal commitment to the Wolfpack. Frazier is a rising senior from William A. Hough High School in Cornelius, NC. He is a consensus three-star prospect but has a solid list of offers that includes Michigan, West Virginia, Maryland, Minnesota, and Duke.
As the youths are want to do these days, Frazier made it Twitter-official:

Frazier was one of many recruits in attendance for NC State’s spring game last weekend, and he pulled the trigger just a few days later. He is listed at 5’10 and 170 pounds by 247Sports, and he’s also considered a top-50 player in North Carolina.
With his addition, NC State now has four verbal commitments in its 2019 class, which in the still early-going ranks ninth in the ACC and 40th overall according to the 247 composite. All four prospects are from NC.
