NC State stays cookin’ on the recruiting trail, picks up commit from 4-star defensive tackle C.J. Clark

Let the June flow.

NC State has had a pretty good handful of days on the recruiting trail. Actually, it’s been an exceptionally good handful of days. The Wolfpack added four-star defensive tackle C.J. Clark on Monday afternoon, continuing a string of recruiting success in North Carolina.

Clark is a top-10 prospect in North Carolina and a consensus four-star recruit. He joins fellow defensive lineman Savion Jackson as a headlining member of this NC State recruiting class. It is not often that you will see the Pack nab a pair of four-star football recruits in the span of a week.

Clark is listed at 6’3, 303 by 247Sports so he has the frame to come in and potentially play right away.

Less than two months ago, Clark named Georgia his leader. He has offers from all over the place. Beating out UGA for a prospect is no easy thing, and it shows you the sorts of recruiting inroads that this staff has made.
