NC State got some good news on Friday afternoon: Georgia offensive lineman Dylan McMahon verbally committed to play for the Wolfpack. McMahon is the second prospect from Georgia to join State’s 2019 class

McMahon attended NC State’s summer camp this weekend—this is usually the time of year where you’ll see a good number of commits, on account of the aforementioned camp. Kids get new offers, and they also get direct instruction from the position coaches, which gives them a pretty good feel for how things are going to go in college.
McMahon is a consensus three-star prospect from Savannah, with offers from Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Indiana, among others. He is the ninth player to join NC State’s 2019 recruiting class, and the second kid from Georgia, joining running back Jamious Griffin. State’s now beaten out Georgia Tech for two kids in its home state.
That’s a pretty good sign, especially given their positions (RB and OL).
