NC State football recruiting: Wolfpack lands commitment from 4-star DT Joshua Harris

The Pack is having a mighty fine Monday.

That’s two! Two verbal commitments in one day. (I assume you read that in the Count’s voice.) Running back Zonovan Knight pulled the trigger this afternoon, and he was followed by defensive tackle Joshua Harris.

Harris is a consensus four-star prospect with an offer sheet to match. He chose NC State over Tennessee, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, UNC, and Georgia. He holds plenty of offers from other prominent power-conference schools as well.

The Roxboro-native is considered a top-10 player in North Carolina and immediately becomes he second-best prospect in NC State’s 2019 recruiting class behind fellow in-state defensive lineman Savion Jackson. Harris is listed at 6’2 and 316 pounds by 247Sports.

In addition to his obvious on-field talents, Harris is also an excellent piano player. As a piano player, he tickles the ivories. As a defensive tackle, he rattles the chicklets (of quarterbacks).

Harris makes 13 in-state commitments for the Wolfpack, and three of ‘em are four-star prospects. This staff is killing it right now.
