NC State names George McDonald recruiting coordinator, releases recruiting territories for assistants

NCAA Football: North Carolina State at North Carolina Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been an offseason of considerable staff changes at NC State, which means that recruiting responsibilities have shifted as well. On Monday, the school announced that co-offensive coordinator George McDonald will also be the program’s recruiting coordinator, replacing Eddie Faulkner in that role. Faulkner is now an assistant with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Below you can see the recruiting territory breakdown by assistant. Almost all of them are responsible for a part of North Carolina, as of course recruiting the top in-state talent will continue to be a major priority for Dave Doeren and his staff.
