Any time you can add a large human, it’s a big day for the program, am I right or what. NC State welcomed the latest addition to its 2021 recruiting class on Monday night when offensive line prospect Lyndon Cooper verbaled to the Wolfpack.

Today also happens to be Cooper’s birthday, but more importantly, Jaylen Samuels’ birthday, but additionally, Cooper’s birthday. Cheers all around.
Cooper is from Carrollton, Georgia, and landed an NC State offer in late May. Syracuse and ECU offered in June. State and Syracuse are his lone power-conference offers at this point, per 247, though I’m sure that will change.
At 6’3 and 315 pounds, Cooper played both guard and tackle during his junior season; his height suggests he’ll project to the interior in college (tackle tends to be reserved for kids a bit taller), but you never know.
Now who wants to watch some pancakes?
I laughed out loud at the play around the 27-second mark.
