College football Week 8 schedule: How to watch, game times, TV channels

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Four ACC teams have yet to win a conference game, but at least one of the four is guaranteed to pick up a victory on Saturday since Wake and Syracuse clash in a battle of o-fers. While we're all particularly excited about that one, there are a couple of early games in the Big 12 that are worth keeping and eye on.

Virginia and Duke will kick off at 12:30 in a matchup that has significant Coastal Division implications, and oh my god I have got to read that part again. Duke ... Virginia ... ugh, this stupid conference. HOW DID WE GET HERE. At this point it's not even slightly nuts to think UVA could win the division, just a year after going winless in conference. I guess Mike London's solid recruiting actually can save his job.

Once again this week, the late late schedule includes a Pac-12 game, and if you've not been staying up for those contests, my friend you are missin' out. There have been all sorts of wee-hour shenanigans courtesy of that league in 2014--shit just gets weird around or after midnight ET, like a switch flipped at Pac-12 HQ or something. Stuff like this or this or this or this keeps happening.

So put on some coffee if you have to for Washington/Oregon and Stanford/Arizona State.
