The ACC slate this week starts with a rare game between ranked teams, as Clemson takes on Georgia Tech. Virginia Tech is in Durham with its bowl eligibility hopes hanging by a thread, while Duke has already won eight games. This is all terribly upside down and still makes no sense to me whatsoever, but until the Hokies' coaches manage to identify a quarterback that is actually decent, I guess this is the new reality.
Still weird though. Even taking Duke's soft non-conference schedule into account, weird. Real weird. Want it to stop. Too much weird.
UNC is facing a crucial game against Pittsburgh, since the Heels are still a game below .500 and have a road trip to Duke ahead of them. They will be fortunate if they avoid getting bludgeoned to death by James Conner, who is less than 160 rushing yards shy of 1,500 for the year. Super glad that we didn't have to deal with Conner this year, because we all know how that would have gone.
