NC State's Sept. 13 road game against USF will be televised by the CBS Sports Network, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. ET, the AAC announced on Thursday afternoon. I'm a bit surprised by this since these teams won five games between them in 2013, but I'll take it. We now know the kickoff times for the first three games of the season, and two of those contests will be on television.
Aug. 30 vs. Georgia Southern -- 12:30 p.m., ACC Network
Sept. 6 vs. Old Dominion -- 6 p.m., ESPN3
Sept. 13 vs. USF -- 3:30 p.m., CBSSN
(And I figure it's a good bet the Presbyterian game on 9/20 gets the 6 p.m./ESPN3 treatment as well.)
The last time State was in Florida playing a game televised by one of CBS' networks, it ended okay, and as we all know, the correlation between game location, network, and outcome is 100% predictive. Don't bother checking me on that, I am telling you the truth 1000%.
