College football Week 3: How to watch, game times, channels, and streaming

Jonathan Daniel

After looking through the whole schedule like three times in a desperate effort to find good matchups, I've come to the conclusion that this week  stinks. Hell, somehow BC-USC is an 8 p.m. game, and the best prime time matchup looks like either Tennessee-Oklahoma or UCLA-Texas. Those games could all be lopsided affairs, so, yeah. Please save us with one decent game among them, football gods.

There are some potentially interesting contests early on, at least, with Maryland hosting West Virginia, Virginia Tech hosting East Carolina, and UCF playing at Missouri. I'm also curious to see how Georgia Southern fares against Georgia Tech. (Fun fact! GSU's offense leads the FBS in yards per play through two games. And we helped them get there. How about a round of applause for ourselves.)

At 3:30, your primary flip-away-from-State-in-disgust options include Arkansas-Texas Tech, Iowa-Iowa State, and Georgia-Sakerlina. One of those games could be as much as three percent interesting.
