Nice work here from the ACC Digital Network on Jacoby Brissett's background, and how he eventually wound up at NC State. Interesting how timing and recruiting connections work out sometimes; Dave Doeren had familiarity with Brissett because he'd recruited Florida while at Wisconsin.
Ihad no idea he was so close to committing to West Virginia. Doeren getting Brissett to change his mind could prove to be one of the most significant wins of Doeren's career. It's difficult to overstate the importance of last year's success, and now the Pack is in great position to have another good season. No tellin' how 2014 would have looked with Jalan McClendon running the show as a true freshman.
