NC State vs. Notre Dame game thread / Saturday open thread

It’s been a while, but here we are, waiting impatiently for what is easily the biggest game NC State has played on a football field in a long, long time. I’ve been enjoying this winning streak as much as anybody else over the last couple months, but now? Now laughing time is over. (At least for a short while.)

Laughing time shall resume, but for today at least, there’s serious business at hand. This is a gravy game—it does not factor into the ACC standings, and NC State will hold first place in the Atlantic no matter what happens—but man, I’d like to have this one. I’d like to have it a lot.
