Bradley Chubb is NC State’s all-time sack leader

NC State didn’t play great on Saturday, but Bradley Chubb was there, as he typically is. Chubb registered 2.5 sacks against Boston College, including one crucial forced fumble late in the first half, and Chubb is now alone atop the list of State’s best sack artists with 26 of ‘em.

Chubb has done this all while wearing a patch in tribute to Mario Williams, the guy he just surpassed. I think State is going to have to re-do the patch.

Chubb has had to fight through myriad double teams to get here, but he’s never let it bother him, either, which is another reason why he’s great. His troll gaze never stops, and that’s why he’s an unforgettable player. I’m going to miss him a lot.

And he has three more games to improve on the record that is now his alone. His troll game remains impeccable, by the way. Here are some highlights from today:
