Jaylen Samuels is 3rd NC State player to accept Senior Bowl invite

Jaylen Samuels is set to play in the 2018 Senior Bowl, which is one of the bigger events outside of the actual NFL Combine for potential pro prospects. Samuels will be joined by teammates B.J. Hill and Justin Jones in the game.

The Senior Bowl draws scouts and front office personnel from every NFL team, so it’s a potentially crucial week for a lot of players. The week of practices ahead of the event might even be more important than the game itself. Guys who impress during that week can make themselves a lot of money.

Rosters for this exhibition game have not been finalized, so there could be more additions from NC State in the coming weeks. The game is played on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 2:30 p.m. ET. As usual, it’s being televised by the NFL Network, so you can hear Mike Mayock spout dozens of useless pro scouting buzzwords.
