Thank you, Dave

I’ve never been bothered by Dave Doeren the person. Dave is kinda difficult to dislike. This is half the reason why I have ever been upset with him for football reasons. I want Dave Doeren to succeed. I mean, how do you actually dislike this man:

You don’t, obviously. Doeren, and a lot of the kids he’s been preaching to for a while, just picked up their biggest win, put a seal on their own legacy. That’s what you see in that photo, and the thing that you learn to understand about Dave is that none of it is faked. Handing out donuts, that’s fake. This is not.

So thank you, Dave. This is the best possible apology doughnut. The breakthrough is good. It’s really nice to be here; let’s do this some more. It takes a lot of work to get here; sometimes, it turns out, years of work.

I don’t think that there has been a harsher critic of Dave Doeren than me, and I’ll take whatever flack comes with that, but in the meantime, let’s just hug some hugs.
