Highlights! NC State says turnovers are all part of the experience

This is why I don’t like roller coasters.

It’s easy to dwell on the mistakes that NC State made Saturday afternoon, because there were a lot of them, and they were big ones. Twice the Wolfpack got inside the Boston College five and came away with zero points. Three of its four turnovers came in plus territory.

And yet ... there was a lot of fun had, especially in the second quarter, because Jakobi Meyers and Kelvin Harmon put on their big boy pants and made some spectacular catches. You can count on a few of those plays every week, and it’s so much fun. If you want, you can just cut the highlight video off after Harmon’s long touchdown grab that gave State a 28-3 lead.

On the defensive side, Germaine Pratt was everywhere, finishing with 13 tackles, including 1.5 for loss. His fumble recovery late, on an odd play that went forever with no whistle, was the big break that NC State needed in order to hang on and win.

So let us cue the victory dance! Take it away, Nyheim Hines.
