Week 10 Football: What to watch

A lot of midweek MACtion happening this week, with three games already having been played (the Tuesday games were actually entertaining) and another two on deck for Thursday. But let’s be real here; MACtion ain’t what gets you real pumped up, it’s just for us college football junkies. There are at least two good games before Saturday’s slate hits: Temple @ UCF on Thursday and Pitt @ Virginia on Friday.

ABC decided it would be a good time for everyone to nationally broadcast an execution Saturday at noon, so I guess that’s something. That first round of Saturday games is incredibly bland, but that 3:30pm/4:00pm host of games... now that’s the stuff (or at least it is for those watching the State game from home).

A few other notes:

• Clemson is now the #1 ranked team (yes, ahead of Alabama) in the F/+ ratings
• Syracuse with the most fitting F/+ and Sagarin rankings ever for them
• Everyone and their moms will be watching that Alabama @ LSU game
• The two late games will suck, but then again, college football addiction knows no quality
